Provide Carecall247 awarded new Technology-Enabled Living contract in Hackney

Provide Carecall247 is proud to announce that Provide Care Solutions, part of Provide Community, has been awarded the London Borough of Hackney’s new Technology-Enabled Living contract, supporting residents to remain safe, independent and connected in their own homes.

The new contract, which begins in August 2026, represents a significant expansion of Provide Carecall247’s monitoring and response services and builds on Provide Community’s growing work across London and the wider community services sector.

The Hackney Technology-Enabled Living service will provide a combination of:
  • 24/7 monitoring and alarm response
  • telecare equipment installation, maintenance and replacement
  • community response and assisted lifting services
  • digital integration and performance reporting

The service is designed to help vulnerable residents live independently for longer, while supporting faster intervention when help is needed and helping to reduce avoidable hospital admissions.

Unlike traditional alarm-only services, the Hackney Technology-Enabled Living model focuses on prevention, reassurance and person-centred support, helping residents stay safe at home with access to local response, welfare support and stronger links into community and clinical pathways.

Mark Heasman, Group Chief Executive at Provide Community, said: “Securing the Hackney Technology-Enabled Living contract represents an important milestone for Provide Community and reflects the growing role that technology-enabled, preventative services play in supporting people to live independently for longer.

“This award demonstrates confidence in our ability to deliver high-quality, responsive community services at scale, combining technology, local partnerships and person-centred care to improve outcomes for residents.

“As demand continues to grow for integrated models of community support, we are proud to be expanding our presence across London and investing in services that help people remain safe, connected and independent in their own homes.”

Nicola Swainston, Provide Carecall247 Manager, added: “We are incredibly proud to have secured this opportunity and to be supporting residents across Hackney through a service focused on independence, reassurance and responsive support. At Provide Carecall247, we understand that people want to feel safe and confident in their own homes, while families want peace of mind that help is available when it’s needed most. This service is about much more than technology, it’s about supporting people to live independently with confidence.”

The service will also work closely with local health, social care and community partners to ensure residents can access the right support at the right time, including falls support, welfare checks and onward referrals where appropriate.

As part of the mobilisation process ahead of the August launch, teams across Provide Community will begin preparations around operational delivery, workforce planning, partnerships and service transition arrangements.

This contract marks an important milestone for Provide Carecall247 and reflects the organisation’s continued commitment to delivering innovative, preventative and community-focused services that help people remain independent for longer.
