The Story of Provide Carecall247
Provide Carecall247 began over 30 years ago as a small falls prevention team focused on supporting people in the Braintree area.
Back then, our hours were limited – 8am to 6pm – with another provider covering the evenings and weekends. Over time, we expanded from simply preventing falls to responding to them, offering a localised falls pick-up and monitoring service. Today, we’ve grown into a trusted, county-wide provider of technology-enabled care, delivering 24/7 personal alarm monitoring and urgent response services across Essex. What started as a small local team has evolved into a full-scale service with a dedicated monitoring centre, a fleet of trained responders, and a reputation built on compassion, reliability and professionalism.

Provide Carecall247 is part of Provide Community, a not-for-profit, employee-owned health and care organisation.
We help people stay safe at home with technology-enabled care. Our mission is to provide fast, reliable, and compassionate support 24/7, 365 days a year. With a mix of national coverage and local support in Essex, we offer a unique hybrid approach that prioritises safety, trust, and simplicity.
Being part of Provide Community, a not-for-profit, employee-owned Community Interest Company (CIC), means the profit we make is reinvested back into health, care, and community initiatives.
Provide Community supports NHS and community health services across the country, with a strong presence in Essex and the East of England. As an award-winning organisation rated Outstanding by the CQC, Provide Community champions innovation, compassion, and collaboration in everything we do.
Our team of over 1,200 colleagues are co-owners of the business, meaning they have a genuine stake in the work we deliver and the care we provide. Through this model, over £4 million has already been donated to local charities, education groups, and community causes.
