Description

When the alarm button is pressed, it will trigger an automatic call which is promptly answered by our Carecall24 7 team. The team will arrange the required assistance, and may call your loved ones or the emergency services to ensure you receive the necessary help. If you experience a fall and are unharmed, our team will attend your home and safely lift you using specialised equipment. In the event we receive no response from you after you press your button, and we are unable to reach your friends and family, we will attend and check you are safe.

HOME ALARM UNIT
The Digital Home Base Alarm ensures that you are always connected to our 24-hour Control Centre, even if you are in another room. The lightweight wrist or neck pendant is comfortable to wear all day and pressing the emergency button connects you to our award-winning team in any emergency. The alarm does not require a telephone landline and works both indoors and outdoors, giving you and your loved ones peace of mind.

GPS PENDANT OR WATCH
The Out-and-About Classic GPS Alarm is a personal alarm designed to help people stay active and independent. It boasts a user-friendly design with only one button to press for 24/7 help from their award-winning Control Centre, similar to a traditional personal alarm. This GPS alarm features cutting-edge technology that enables users to receive assistance from the team wherever they are. The Out-and-About Classic GPS Alarm can also function inside the home, provided there is strong mobile network coverage from any network.

KEY SAFE
If you need assistance, it’s reassuring to know that your family, carers, and if necessary, the emergency services can quickly gain access to your home. You can add a key safe to your personal alarm when you order online or by telephone.

FAQs

When you press your pendant, a call is immediately routed to the Carecall247 Control Room. Every alarm has a unique ID, so when a call comes through, your details will appear. This enables our team to quickly identify the person who triggered the alarm.

Our operator will promptly speak to you through the speaker on the base unit. If you’re within range of the alarm, they’ll be able to hear your response and provide the necessary assistance. In the event you’re not within range of the alarm, they’ll call you on your landline or mobile to better understand the situation, if they do not get a response on the telephone, we will contact personal contacts or Carecall247 responders to attend.

With Carecall247, you can be assured of a swift and reliable response in times of need.

For your safety, we advise you to always wear your pendant, except when you’re in bed. However, we strongly suggest keeping the pendant alarm within reach even while in bed and taking it with you when you need to move around, going to the bathroom or kitchen for example, as this is a common time for a fall to occur.

Your pendant alarm is designed to withstand showering; we don’t recommend wearing it in the bath due to safety concerns. Following these guidelines will give you peace of mind, knowing your pendant alarm is always to hand to provide assistance if you require it. 

In the event you’re unable to hear the operator speaking over the alarm, don’t worry, you can still use the Carecall247 service. The alarm base’s microphone is incredibly sensitive, but if the operator is unable to communicate with you or hear you, they will attempt to reach you through your landline or mobile phone.

If the operator is unable to contact one of your listed contacts, a Carecall247 Responder will be sent. We prioritise your safety, taking every necessary step to ensure you receive the help you need.

If you happen to lose your pendant and are unable to locate it, just get in touch with us and we’ll arrange for a replacement. You can contact us by phone at 0300 303 2682, via email at carecall@carecall247.co.uk or by pressing the red button on your pendant alarm and reaching our team directly.

We’ll assist you in arranging for a new base unit to be sent out to you.

It’s important to note that there is a charge of £50 for a replacement.

You can easily obtain a new pendant alarm cord; we’ll send one out to you free of charge.

At Carecall247, we believe in providing a flexible and hassle-free service; that’s why we don’t have a minimum contract period for our service.

If, for any reason, you decide that you no longer need your pendant alarm, contact us to arrange for its return or collection. Once we have received the returned alarm, we’ll cancel your contract with us.
