In March 2019 Mr P pressed his pendant alarm as he had collapsed on to the floor. Mr P. was unable to speak or call for help. The Carecall247 Operator was unable to ascertain the reason for the call, however, immediately called a Responder to go round and check on Mr P to make sure he was OK. The Operator spoke to Mr P over the alarm and reassured him that help was on the way. The responder attended quickly and contacted the Operator to report that Mr P. had chest pains so the Operator immediately called an ambulance to attend. Mr P. was taken to hospital as he had suffered a heart attack, however, he was back home a few weeks later and reported that having the Carecall247 had saved his life.
